“The Biggest Loser: No Excuses” has crowned Jeremy Britt as the champion. The banker shed half of his body weight to take home the grand prize of $250,000 on the season 13 finale, which was aired Tuesday, May 1 on NBC.
After leaving the Ranch for seven weeks, Jeremy and two other finalists, his own sister Conda Britt and former pro-wrestler Kim Nielsen, stepped on the scale for the last weigh-in. Jeremy went from 389 lbs. to 190 lbs for a total weight loss of 199 lbs. (51.25%), Conda went from 294 lbs. to 179 lbs. for a total weight loss of 115 lbs. (39.12%), while Kim went from 252 lbs. to 134 lbs. for a total weight loss of 118 lbs. (46.83%).
“It feels great,” 22-year-old Jeremy said of his experience on the show, before he was announced as the winner. “I felt like I was supposed to be here… I fought for it.” He almost lost his chance at winning the grand prize when he was eliminated in week 14, but was brought back as part of a surprising twist.
Also on the finale, 14 other contestants were back to show off their slimmer figures and compete for the at-home prize of $100,000. Mike Messina won the prize by losing a total of 160 lbs., or 44.69% of his body weight, beating out two other strongest contenders Cassandra Sturos and Emily Joy.
Meanwhile, Mark Cornelison and Buddy Shuh, who walked out of the show because they were upset with the twist, were absent from the finale. Joe Messina, who exited earlier to spend more time with his family, also didn’t show up.
“The Biggest Loser” is moving on despite the alleged protest launched by the contestants. After it was reported that the filming of the currently aired thirteenth season was shut down due to the cast revolt, the show is now said to have resumed production.
According to TMZ, the reality series has axed two of the contestants who walked off the set earlier this week after learning about a secret twist planned by the producers. Sources moreover spilled that the show’s bosses are considering to use the mutiny as “a story point.”
Previously, reports said the remaining players in the current season of “Biggest Loser” walked off during the filming of an episode because they were upset that the producers planned to bring back previous contestants to compete for the $250,000 grand prize. They allegedly felt it’s unfair that former cast members would be given a second chance at winning the prize.
NBC remains mum on the issue.

“The Biggest Loser” is facing a big problem, if a report from TMZ can be trusted. According to the site, the remaining contestants in the current season of the reality series have walked off the show and now threaten to quit completely after learning a secret twist planned by producers.
Rumor has it, the show’s bosses are considering to bring back previous contestants to compete for the grand prize. The current cast members are allegedly upset because they feel it’s unfair that former cast members would be given a second chance at winning the prize.
After the current contestants walked off the show during the filming of an episode, the show’s producers have reportedly shut down the production for at least a week while they try to figure things out. NBC has not commented on the report.
After crowning John Rhode as a winner last season, “The Biggest Loser” returned with “No Excuses” on Tuesday, January 3. Unlike the previous seasons which paired up mother-daughter, father-son, brother-sister and husband-wife in one team, there would be no partners to win the champion title and the $250,000 grand prize this time around.
Aside from the twist, the premiere of the “No Excuses” season also saw an elimination at the beginning of the show. One team of two was sent packing even before they entered the ranch. The first challenge to survive this phase was to finish a 40-yard dash, and it had the blue, orange, brown, and yellow team finishing first.
In the second round, the rest of the team had to finish a puzzle each. Gray, red, purple, and green team did well, leaving the the pink and aqua team to battle each other for the ninth and last place in the ranch. They were challenged to stand on barrels and hold onto each other for as long as they could. The first team who fell off was automatically out of the game.
Daphne, from the aqua team, lost her balance during this challenge, resulting in her and her brother Adrian to go home. When the two thought they had completely lost their chance in the competition, they were informed that they would be given another chance if they could lose 50 pounds as a team in one month.
Although they had gone through the early elimination phase, those stepping their feet into the ranch still had to survive another ax. They were sent to the workout session with the assistance from Bob and Dolvett. After the weigh-in, it’s revealed that the latter’s team beat the former’s team. At the end, it’s Ben who left the camp. He said he had learned all he needed to learn.

John Rhode is “The Biggest Loser: Battle of the Ages” champion. The 41-year-old special education teacher and football coach took home the $250,000 grand prize on the season 12 finale aired on Tuesday, December 13.
On the determining night, Rhode and the two finalists, Antone Davis and Ramon Medeiros, were weighed for the last time to determine the winner. Starting the show at 445 lbs, Rhode has lost 220 lbs which is 49.44% of initial weight.
Former NFL player Davis was placed second, losing 202 lbs or 45.19% of his starting weight 447 lbs. Coming in third, Medeiros lost 154 lbs or 43.38% his initial weight 355 lbs.
Also announced that night was the winner of at-home challenge for the eliminated contestants. Making it to the final three were Vinny Hickerson, Patrick Ferrari and Jennifer Rumple, with Jennifer taking home the $100,000 prize. She lost 145 lbs or 43.94% of her initial weight 330 lbs.
“The Biggest Loser” will start the thirteenth cycle on January 3, 2012. Anna Kournikova, who joined as a trainer this season, will not return on the NBC reality show next year, but Dolvett Quince will be back for his second season.

Meeting the ex contestants not only boosted their morale but also infused present contestants with more energy looking at their fit physiques.
Adam Hurtado was there to meet Red team while Harper’s team was motivated by Hannah from last season of The Biggest Loser episodes. Anna’s blue team was visited by Marci Crozier also from last season.
After getting themselves refreshed and motivated contestants had to face a challenge. And the challenge of The Biggest Loser Season 12 Episode 4 was that all teams had to workout and the winning team would be getting letters from their home as reward. Though what was said prior was not implemented and every team was given their letters as all of them completed the challenge.
But Black team was the winner of this challenge of episode 4 of The Biggest Loser Season 12 so they got a reward for that which was video chat with their families. Now that was really a treat full of emotions and happiness.
Last but not the least was the eviction in The Biggest Loser Season 12 Episode 4 based on the weight loss of each team. Blue team was the loser in this and Bonnie sent Mike back home. Major attraction of this week’s The Biggest Loser Season 12 Episode 3 was the NFL match and that also with three ace NFL players. The episode brought onboard famous NFL players Clay Mathew III, Tony Gonzalez and Drew Bree to compete with the teams. The game became more interesting with these stars. Red Team performed well making its team member Courtney winner of 2 VIP tickets to Super XLVI. Now that’s what you call a prize for hard work.
Other than these challenges we had in The Biggest Loser Season 12 Episode 3 Jennifer going to the physician and getting her MRI done. And she was diagnosed with stress fracture due to which she is not supposed to do weight bearing exercises.
Then came the Team challenge in The Biggest Loser Season 12 Episode 3 in which the contestants were tempted to burn calories for a prize of a day at spa. Black Team stayed ahead of all three from the starting and they continued to do so till the end though Red Team tried hard to beat them. But with 1171 calories burnt Black Team became clear winners winning themselves a day at spa.
But they set an example for others by denying the prize and preferring to stay at gym. Now that is a real motivation for all those who want to loose weight.

This week’s The Biggest Loser Season 12 Episode 2 started off with Alison coming up to the teams and telling them that this week the gym will be opened for a limited time. And each team had to do its workout in one time slot. Then came the question as to who will be given which time slot and for this we had temptation challenge.
The temptation challenge in The Biggest Loser Season 9 Episode 2 had the condition that each team will be given donuts and the team eating the maximum would get the right to choose time slots for all teams. First you make the contestants eat 35 calorie each donut and then they have to workout hard to shed the extra calories.
In Episode 2 of The Biggest Loser season 12 I felt that Team Red was wisest of them all as they ate zero donuts. And Black team was the winner with 37 donuts & it chose 5 AM to 7 AM slot for themselves. Black team’s victory was only due to John Rhode who ate all 37.
More in The Biggest Loser Season 12 Episode 2 we had physician Dr.Rob Huizenga coming and checking each contestant. And second challenge in which they had to finish a maze. The Black team was the winner of this challenge also completing the task in 7 minutes 42 seconds and winning 2 pounds advantage for themselves. Red tem won one pound advantage by coming second.
The one who left The Biggest Loser Season 12 episodes this week was Johnny Forger, a 65 year old from Blue Team of Anna Kournikova.

In The Biggest Loser Season 12 Premiere episode we were introduced with 15 new contestants which were different aged and so they were classified according to their age only. Allison made three teams; first one young team with all youngsters, second a middle team with the middle aged and the last one Old team with all the aged ones.
After Jillian Michaels’ exit in last season we were eagerly waiting to see the new trainers of The Biggest Loser Season 12 episodes. And it was a pleasant surprise to see Anna Kornikova, the tennis player, and Dolvett Quince, personal trainer. Bob Harper was also one of the trainers and he surely didn’t need any introduction.
Next in The Biggest Loser Season 12 Premiere episode we had race which would decide which team will take which trainer. All the three trainers stood one mile away and all the teams started to run. It was obvious that the winning team would be choosing Bob as he is the favorite of them all. Middle team won the race and became Bob’s black team by choosing him as their trainer. The last one was the old team who were left with no choice except Anna.
Soon we saw the workouts, challenge and eviction in premiere episode of The Biggest Loser Season 12. Team Blue of Anna was the one who lost this week and got to eliminate one of its contestants. Debbie was the one who was sent back home.
